Abstract : the study aimed to explore the legal nature of NDCs under international law. The paper assessed the normative content, legal form and quality of the NDC commitments through the lens of International Law to examine its legal bindingness; precision; accountability; enforceability to promote and ensure implementation of agreed norms to affect the States behavior in climate change response measures.
