Abstract : The present study focused on the multidrug resistance pattern of eleven Pseudomonas aeruginosa from burn patients isolated at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. The results showed 100% resistance to cefepime, meropenem, rifampicin, erythromycin, ticarcillin, ceftazidine and chloramphenicol. Eighty-two percent resistances to kanamycin and aztreonam, 64% resistance to ciprofloxacin and 55% resistance to piperacillin were also observed in the antibiotic sensitivity tests. On the other hand, the isolates were 100% sensitive to tobramycin, gentamicin and imipenem but 91% sensitive to azithromycin.
