Title : Public Procurement in the Roads and Highways Department of Bangladesh

Abstract : The present work critically examines the actual practices of transparency and accountability in public procurement in the Roads and Highways Department of Bangladesh, with a special focus on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Four Lane Project as an instance. The investigation also covers the elements of effective governance as a case study by using the official documents, manuals, publications, reports, content analysis, in-depth interviews, audit reports, qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
