Impact statement: The study reveals that while healthcare workers in Bangladesh generally show improvement in their overall perception of health after recovering from COVID-19, their psychological and social quality of life remains vulnerable, particularly for female workers and those with pre-existing comorbidities. These findings are intended to guide policymakers in developing rehabilitation and recovery strategies specifically tailored for COVID-19-affected healthcare professionals to ensure their successful reintegration into the workforce.
