| Impact statement: This study provides the first-ever occupational health assessment of Bangladeshi online professionals, revealing a high 65.6% prevalence of low back pain (LBP). It identifies key risk factors such as working over 50 hours per week in a sitting position, being overweight or obese, and sleeping on soft mattresses. These findings serve as critical evidence for policymakers to develop specialized health practice guidelines and occupational safety frameworks for the "digital gig" workforce, ensuring the health and economic stability of one of the world's largest populations of online freelancers. | Collaboration: Other | Keywords: Online professionals, Low back pain, Occupational health, Bangladesh, Online freelancers |
