Impact statement: This protocol establishes a framework for a systematic review to identify effective nonpharmacological interventions—such as lifestyle modifications, nutritional advice, and exercise—to prevent frailty syndrome in elderly populations within low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). By synthesizing evidence from randomized controlled trials, the study aims to provide methodologically sound guidelines for geriatric specialists in resource-limited settings. Ultimately, this work seeks to help older adults maintain autonomy, improve their quality of life, and reduce the economic burden of chronic illnesses in developing territories.
