| Impact statement: This is the first nationwide study in Bangladesh to explore HPV vaccine awareness among parents, revealing a critical gap where only 22.32% of respondents possess basic knowledge of the vaccine. By identifying that urban residency increases awareness by 3.56 times and that healthcare workers are the most trusted source of information (80.45%), the research provides an essential evidence-based foundation for policymakers to design targeted, large-scale awareness campaigns that can ensure the success of the national vaccination rollout and effectively reduce the global burden of cervical cancer. | Collaboration: None | Keywords: Human papillomavirus; HPV vaccine; Papillomavirus; Vaccination; Cervical cancer; Awareness; Parents; Children; Daughters; Cross |
