Impact statement: This cross-sectional study conducted at Fatima General Hospital reveals that the overall knowledge of foot ulcers among diabetic patients is poor. By identifying that employed individuals, smokers, and female patients possess higher levels of knowledge than their counterparts, the research highlights critical gaps in patient education that must be addressed through targeted interventions to reduce the risk of peripheral neuropathy and vascular diseases in the rapidly growing diabetic population of Dhaka.
