Impact statement: This study provides critical evidence on the digital readiness of the Bangladeshi medical workforce, revealing that while over 90% of physicians are aware of AI, actual clinical integration remains limited due to poor detailed knowledge and a lack of formal training. By identifying that female physicians and those in private hospitals exhibit significantly higher levels of AI literacy and practice, the findings offer a strategic roadmap for policymakers to develop user-centered AI tools and targeted medical curriculum reforms to bridge the implementation gap in resource-constrained healthcare systems.
