| Impact statement: This longitudinal study evaluates the effectiveness of the Ponseti method (PM) in treating congenital clubfoot (CC) in Bangladesh, focusing on four fundamental dynamic foot tasks: standing, squatting, walking, and running. Following 93 children over ten consecutive visits, the research demonstrated a 100% functional success rate by the final visit, with all participants able to perform every task independently. These findings provide significant clinical evidence that the PM is a highly effective, non-surgical intervention in Bangladesh, offering a clear path to full physical mobility and improved quality of life for children born with this deformity. | Collaboration: Partner University | Keywords: Congenital clubfoot (CC); functional outcomes; Ponseti method (PM); Bangladesh |
