Impact statement: This is the first study to examine the knowledge, attitude, and perception of 556 medical students and healthcare professionals in Bangladesh regarding male infertility. The research reveals a significant public health gap: nearly half (49.82%) of participants lacked good knowledge, and approximately 61% held negative attitudes toward the condition. While MBBS doctors showed the highest levels of awareness, the study found that women had more positive attitudes than men, likely because infertile women face higher societal pressure. By establishing that only 7% of professionals have received formal training on the subject, these findings provide a vital mandate for the standardization of healthcare guidelines and the integration of reproductive health into medical curricula to ensure comprehensive care for infertile couples.
