| Impact statement: This is the first study in Bangladesh to assess malaria vaccine knowledge and acceptance in hotspot zones, revealing that while only 25% of parents have heard of the vaccine, a significant majority (70%) are willing to vaccinate their children. By identifying that urban residency, higher income, and prior malaria diagnosis are primary drivers of vaccine acceptance, the research provides a vital evidence-based framework for the government to design targeted awareness campaigns and funding allocations. These findings support the World Health Organization's goal of a malaria-free world by ensuring that life-saving vaccine innovations are accepted and adopted in the nations most vulnerable to the disease. | Collaboration: None | Keywords: acceptance, children, knowledge, malaria, parents, vaccination |
