Title : Debt Policy & Management Specialist, World Bank, Bangladesh 2010-2012 Dr.Goswami provided technical advice to the Government of Bangladesh under a multi-donor trust-funded project being led by the World Bank in partnership with the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh and PDP Australia Pty named Strengthening Public Expenditure Management Program, and developed a unifed public debt management system in Bangladesh in the light of International practices to reduce vulnerability to financial shocks. As a result, Bangladesh has fully automated the national savings instrument and minimized uncertainty in the Bangladesh Government's domestic borrowing. Previously, the amount of domestic debt generated through this process was beyond the Government's control.
