Impact statement: This study reveals a high prevalence of ocular symptoms among Bangladeshi dentists, including itching (46.85%), blurring (41.1%), and eye pain (40.7%), and identifies extended work hours and smoking as major risk factors. By demonstrating that routine eye checkups and longer breaks (over 20 minutes) significantly reduce these odds, the research provides a critical foundation for occupational health policies aimed at protecting the visual health of the dental workforce.
