| Impact statement: This publication examines whether intervention by third states in The Gambia’s case against Myanmar before the International Court of Justice can contribute meaningfully to accountability for atrocities committed against the Rohingya. It evaluates the legal and practical significance of such interventions under the Genocide Convention and explores their potential role in strengthening international oversight and enforcement.
