| Impact statement: This protocol outlines the first study in rural Bangladesh to utilize mHealth technology (mobile phone calls and SMS) to improve menstrual hygiene management among adolescent girls. By implementing a six-month intervention for 172 participants, the research aims to bypass traditional barriers like shyness and social taboos that prevent girls from accessing accurate health information. The findings will provide a crucial evidence-based foundation for the government and policymakers to implement national-level digital health strategies, ultimately empowering young women and protecting their long-term reproductive health and educational outcomes. | Collaboration: None | Keywords: Adolescent; Bangladesh; Menstrual hygiene; mHealth; Rural |
