Impact statement: The study found that 19.2% of post-COVID-19 patients in Bangladesh suffer from memory complaints within a year of recovery. It identifies rural residency and a longer duration since recovery (6–12 months) as key factors associated with memory deficits. These findings emphasize the need for further investigation into the etiology of post-COVID memory loss and the implementation of actions to mitigate its impact on survivors' quality of life.
